IWT Vlaanderen:

The Agency for Innovation through Science and Technology was founded in 1991. This governmental agency supports innovation in Flanders in different ways:

  • Financial support
    Each year, IWT financially supports a large amount of projects for innovative companies and organisations.
  • Advice
    IWT supports companies and research centres in their search for funding
  • Co-ordination and networking
    IWT promotes a close co-operation between the different actors in the innovation landscape
  • Policy support
    IWT advises the Flemish government when it comes to innovation policy
