US based Sales & Business Development Executive for Embedded Security

Silex Inside located in Belgium is an innovative company specialized in IP cores and integrated solutions in the fields of embedded security and video transport over IP. Our IP solutions are used by world leading semiconductor and OEM electronics manufacturers.
Our embedded security products are applied to  IoT devices , I2M, C2X, networking, data servers and automotive applications and are used in a wide range of wired and wireless protocols. Today, 60% of our embedded security revenue is generated in North America were we have developed a strong customer base with a very significant growth potential for the entire region.
In the process of bringing our security technology to new markets and while developing new security solutions and cryptographic engines, we are continuously looking to connect with people who are excited about combining their business skills with their interests in security, hardware and software.

We are currently looking for a “Sales and Business Development Executive” for our Embedded Security IP products to further develop the fast growing North American market.

Our new team member should be comfortable partnering with the biggest players in the semiconductor market to gain access to customers in the automotive, medical, consumer, payments and industrial IoT verticals.  While serving as our primary interface into the market for his/her accounts, the business development manager will be supported by our world-class engineering and marketing teams based in Belgium.

As a business development executive you will also be a key element for the market prospection and the identification/development of new accounts and leads to grow our embedded security business in your region. You will have close communication with engineers and product management and report to the Belgium team.

Main Accountabilities

  • Sales and business development  and prospect new business
  • Realize personal targets by meeting customers, follow up on business leads, making targeted cold calls
  • Analyze the customers’ needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return
  • Interface and provide regular sales forecast and reports, and feedback on marketing and products / services to sales management
  • Monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence to market management
  • Defining and exploring of the key markets
  • Organizing shows and exhibitions.
  • Marketing for the development of the Embedded  Security business
  • You report to the Sales & Marketing Manager Embedded Security 

Qualifications- Profile

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or a demonstrated strong technical background.
  • Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer, Business Engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of on IoT, I2M, C2X, networking, data servers and automotive applications/markets
  • 5 years of proven sales and business development working with high-value complex technical solutions to large corporate accounts in related industries/technologies
  • Experience in marketing
  • Strong technical background in Embedded Security
  • Very business driven
  • Ready and willing to travel in US 
  • Very good communication and presentations skills
  • Team builder and  problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Capabilities to work with an important level of autonomy
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new things
  • Experience in IP sales and or semiconductors is a plus
